In 2017, Walker Dawson interviewed David Freund about his project, Gas Stop, published as a four-volume set by Steidl Verlag. The interview was later edited by Nick Neumann and posted as a video interview on Lensculture and Youtube.

Dawson and Neumann are cofounders of Breaking Borders, "the Definitive Guide to the Road Less Traveled."
